Get help with the big decisions.

Have your agent compare the options, explain what changes the answer and show how the decision plays out over time.

Fictional product example. Fictional housing comparison for Noor and Sam. Their linked rent payments are US$2,400 a month from Apr 1, 2026 through Sep 1, 2026. The lease proposes US$2,520 from Oct 1, 2026, an increase of US$120 a month or US$1,440 over a full year, with a reply due by Sep 30, 2026. Those records are distinct from the illustrative purchase and future-cost assumptions. The modeled rental and purchased homes are assumed to be comparable. The purchase example uses a US$360,000 home, US$72,000 down, a US$288,000 mortgage at a fixed 6% over 30 years, and US$10,800 of buying costs. The displayed monthly mortgage payment is US$1,726.71. Selling costs are 6% of the home price, which stays flat. Each option starts with the same US$82,800 and receives the same monthly housing budget, set to the higher housing cost that month. The cheaper option invests the difference. Renting keeps the initial cash invested; buying spends it on the down payment and purchase costs. Tax, insurance and maintenance total US$9,000 in year one and rise 3% a year; rent rises 3% a year. Unspent cash earns an assumed 4.5% effective annual return. The chart compares invested cash when renting with proceeds from selling the home after selling costs and the remaining mortgage, plus invested surplus when buying. After 3 years, renting leaves US$94,488.56 and buying leaves US$65,340.50, a US$29,148.06 advantage for renting. After 10 years, renting leaves US$128,585.87 and buying leaves US$139,633.92, a US$11,048.05 advantage for buying. Buying first leads in month 106 under these assumptions. If rent stays flat instead, renting leads by US$39,827.53 after 10 years. Calculations retain full precision and round the displayed figures. All results are nominal and before income-tax effects. No income-tax effects, special property-tax relief, homeowners association fees, refinancing or mortgage insurance are modeled. Equal utilities and other living expenses are excluded from both options. These are illustrative estimates, not a real mortgage quote or a forecast of market rates or returns. See Era’s results

See what Era earned and saved you.

Era handles the approved moves that earn savings interest and reduce card interest, so you have fewer money chores.

Fictional product example. Fictional four-week example for Maya, from Aug 26, 2026 to Sep 23, 2026. Both paths start with US$28,000 in checking, no savings and US$6,000 of revolving card principal. Both include US$4,800 of pay and US$3,800 of ordinary spending. In the illustrated action history, Era suggests two actions and Maya approves each separately: US$16,000 moves to an existing higher-yield savings account on Aug 27, 2026, and the full card payoff of US$6,027.62, including US$27.62 of accrued interest, posts on Sep 2, 2026. The hypothetical comparator makes neither additional action. At the fixed closing date, savings interest earned is US$53.26 and card interest avoided is US$82.85. Net across the three accounts, including accrued interest, is US$22,889.53 without additional actions and US$23,025.64 after the approved actions: US$136.11 better off. Transferred and repaid principal do not count as gains. Savings interest is accrued, not yet credited. Rates are hypothetical and fixed: 0% checking, 4.5% simple annual savings and 24% simple annual card interest, calculated on daily principal over 365 days without compounding. There are no fees, new card purchases, investment contributions or market changes. Figures are before tax; no tax effect is modeled. The prior required card payment was settled before the window and the next is due after it. No recurring authority is granted. Example external accounts: BMO · Checking, BMO · Higher-yield savings and BMO · Card balance. US$16,000 moved to higher-yield savings: Maya approved Aug 26, 2026; Posted Aug 27, 2026. Ongoing help

Leave the routine to Era.

Choose the accounts and limits once. Era runs the approved routine without a new prompt, and asks you when something needs your attention.

Keep the bills funded without checking every account yourself.

Fictional product example. Fictional routine for Lina, approved on Sep 30, 2026 after a separate one-off transfer. It aims to keep cash after recorded bills between US$3,000 and US$5,000, preserve at least US$10,000 in savings, move at most US$1,000 per transfer and at most US$2,000 each month. On Oct 7, 2026, checking of US$8,700 less US$3,000 of upcoming bills left US$5,700. The rule moved US$700 from checking to savings, leaving checking at US$8,000, savings at US$12,850 and cash after bills at US$5,000. Monthly use is US$700. On Oct 14, 2026, stale account data prevented another run. Tuition · Due Oct 12, 2026: US$2,100; Insurance · Due Oct 15, 2026: US$900. Sep 28, 2026, 10:00 a.m.: US$2,650; Sep 30, 2026, 10:00 a.m.: US$3,000; Oct 7, 2026, 9:00 a.m.: US$5,700; Oct 7, 2026, 10:00 a.m.: US$5,000; Oct 14, 2026, 10:00 a.m.: Account data needs updating. Example external accounts: BMO · Checking and BMO · Savings.

Shared decisions

Work on money together.

Bring your people and agents into the same conversation. Each person chooses the records they share.

Fictional product example. Fictional shared conversation for Noor and Sam, with invited advisor Priya and an Era agent. Noor contributes 6 rent transactions, the lease and the renewal notice. Sam contributes 3 utility transactions: 9 selected transactions and 2 documents in total. Other records remain private. The advisor asks them to include moving costs and the planned length of stay. The earlier comparison used illustrative purchase assumptions. The agent identifies US$1,440 in extra yearly rent and creates a task to replace those assumptions with the price of a home they are considering and an actual mortgage quote. No person grants access to their other records by joining this conversation, and no payment is authorized. Noor: Example external accounts: BMO · 6 rent payments. Sam: Example external accounts: BMO · 3 utility payments.

Business owners

For the business you run, too.

Have agents check a supplier invoice and show the cash left after your other recorded commitments.

Fictional product example. Fictional supplier-payment review for Rowan, owner of Rowan Studio. At Sep 21, 2026, 10:00 a.m., Northline invoice INV-2041 for monthly operations support is US$2,480, due Sep 25, 2026. Its amount matches the selected July and August invoices (INV-2029 and INV-2035), and its payee details match the saved payee ••8842. No matching payment was found in two permitted cash accounts and scheduled payments through the snapshot; this does not cover unshared records. Checking ••5540 contains US$18,420. Other recorded commitments of US$4,100 exclude this invoice. Paying US$2,480 would leave US$11,840 after those recorded commitments, before other unrecorded spending. Personal records are excluded. The review is prepared for the owner, who must confirm the service and separately approve the payment. No payment has been approved or sent. Example external accounts: BMO · Business checking ••5540.

Questions about access?
Fictional product example. Fictional activity history for Lina. An Era agent used selected checking, savings and recorded bills under the routine approved on Sep 30, 2026. It aims for US$3,000–US$5,000 after bills, at least US$10,000 in savings, no more than US$1,000 per transfer and US$2,000 in total monthly transfers. The US$700 checking-to-savings transfer completed on Oct 7, 2026, leaving US$5,000 after recorded bills and US$12,850 in savings. On Oct 14, 2026, a check was held because account data was stale, and the owner paused the routine. Pausing stops future runs but does not reverse the completed transfer. Connecting an assistant alone does not create this authority. Last completed transfer: US$700. Maximum per transfer: US$1,000. Routine transfers this month: US$700. Monthly limit: US$2,000. Example external accounts: BMO · Checking and BMO · Savings.
